Celestra Corporation can trace its roots back to the 2000, when CDMA was first introduced to China. That time Yingkee Trading Inc. as a agency of Thomas&Betts product, brought and offered cable accessories for local telecom CDMA projects.
Yingke prospered from the distrubtion of wire and cable connectors. In year 2001, James Cox, the founder of Yingke Trading and Realpore Asia that located in Hong Kong found a joint venture facility in Panyu for manufacturing electrical connectors to the original suppliers. This began the history of Celestra Corp.
Celestra initial business was private contract labeling services in cable lugs. This business keeps staying in a most priority today.
- 2006. Celestra began a new business, starting manufacturing its own products and sell to local market.
- 2008. Passed through the field audit from UL Group and got UL registered Firm and ISO 9001 certificate.
- 2009. SAP ERP and MRP deployed in Supply Chain Management, Business Process Management and Finiancial Control.
- 2010，APQP was introduced into Celestra Development and Engineering system.
Today, Celestra is a part supply chains of many global companies in the world.
